Food is okay. You can tell that the concept is no longer up to date. You wait a long time for your meal, which does not always correspond to Italian cuisine. The bruschetta were unfortunately not enjoyable. Claim, quality and concept do not match.

Food was disastrous today, the salami pizza was large, but only had 4 pieces of salami, so completely disappointing. Service and especially the reception staff unfriendly. The 1 star is there because a 0 star rating is not possible.

After the question of what to do with the magnetic cards that every guest receives - the desired food and drinks are booked and paid for at the exit - I noticed the concept of this restaurant chain very pleasantly. You don't just choose your dish from the menu, you enter into a dialogue with the cook almost immediately. The dish, composed of a variety of ingredients, is then prepared right in front of the guest or, in the case of pizza, topped and freshly prepared according to the guest's request. The quality and taste of the food is surprisingly good. Definitely not my last visit there.

The food was okay, there was a little lack of seasoning. The service was very friendly and attentive. The charm of the restaurant suffers greatly from the Corona conditions.

Unfortunately, it always depends on the form of the day. Sometimes baked to the point, on other days unfortunately a total failure. More continuity would be beneficial for everyone.

First on the positive side, unfortunately there wasn't too much. Without the only positive thing, it would only have been a star. The location on the Kiel Fjord is great. Also the outside area directly on the water, great. Negative points, chaotic Corona concept, quality of the food, every Italian would leave the store backwards. The noodles were hardly seasoned, just any, the beef fillet practically unseasoned, eat quickly cold, no wonder when three doors are open and there is a draft in the shop (is probably also part of the Corona concept), the pizza Mageritha was a joke. One should think the mother of all pizzas is relatively easy to make. Even that was messed up, way too much cheese so that it really had to be bitten through, tasted like artificial cheese, just completely wrong. I'm annoyed that I didn't complain about the pizza directly, my hunger drove it in. My complaint when asked when paying resulted in two vouchers for two bruschettas. However, if the bruschetta is of a similar quality to the food described, then that is more of a threat 😉. In combination with the chaos in the implementation of the Corona concept, not worth another visit.

Unfortunately does not really correspond to the Vapiano standard. The service is poor and the staff seem a little unmotivated. Tables are only cleared after a very long time, although they have been walked past several times. The current hygiene regulations are not really adhered to, the employees neither wear mouth and nose protection nor keep them at a distance. The best part is the location right on the water.

Neither the food nor the staff were satisfactory. It's a shame that you don't have an eye for service and customer requests here. Absolutely NOT recommended! The only positive thing about our stay was the view ... but this alone doesn't save an evening.

+ average food + nice cooks / service staff + very easy to reach - Unfortunately I was told that it is "normal" for female staff to be hit on. I think that shouldn't be done.

I like to go to Vapiano very much and often, and I have to say that I was never disappointed. Food always tastes good, and whenever I am there I get a table without any problems. Gladly again!

Food was very bland.

A regular Vapiano not better or worse than any other of the Vapiano branches. Staff a bit whimsy. Due to covid-19 you are referred to a table where you need to fill out a form with your contact details. Nothing wrong with that. But when you leave your table to order food your table might have been given to somebody else by another waiter. Causes confusion and irritation.

it was really my favorite restaurant once, I came here at least twice a week Food, but unfortunately the quality has deteriorated. I now look more and more, when Obama (the cook) is there I walk in, otherwise I avoid the shop. The noodles that I always eat taste different for everyone, except for Obama. Obama was on vacation, so now I gave someone else the chance: Conclusion: the sauce was similar to a soup!

Hygiene measures of the staff m. E. not according to the current times. Food is good, but without any real highlights, prices are okay, even if 100% self-service. Unfortunately, more staff are organized but not act. Tables are not cleared, although it is passed several times. Teamwork does not seem to exist.

Beautiful location for nice pasta after shopping tour

The view of the water is beautiful. The vegan salami pizza was really delicious. The vegan cheese in particular was good. The food was prepared very quickly. It was clean there and the location is central. Some of the staff was very friendly. It got pretty noisy inside. The chairs that are moved loudly make the atmosphere rather uncomfortable. I'll definitely sit outside next time. The food tasted good. The pizza was really big and full. My recommendation is when you are sitting outside and you are ready to clear the plates yourself and bring them in. Otherwise the seagulls come and get the leftovers.

I like this place and I have been there a lot. The food is very good and you have a great variety too (pizza is very good). It has a nice view and you even sometimes see the unique bridge open and boats driving by. Would also suggest the other vapiano's such as the one in Hamburg. Great place and food.

I admit, the quality in the kitchen fluctuates and unfortunately always depends very much on the "cook". Today a super friendly team is at the start. Delicious risotto, friendly service and great price. Table and view of the harbor - what a perfect day.

Lovely place with a great selection of pasta, pizza and salads. A nicely working concept where the meals are prepared in front of you. Friendly staff. If the weather is nice you can eat outside with a view of the harbour.

A peaceful place with great food. I was traveling in Kiel and the beautiful location cought my attention. The choice of food was great. Each plate was excellent and tasty. I loved everything about this restaurant, location, atmosphere, service and especially the food. We've ordered Pesto Pasta, one was vegan because i was fasting and the other one standard. The service is always ready to help you with the choice. Very reasonable prices for the service you recive. Highly recommended.

Very complicated self-service for very high prices of food and drink as well. For this budget, a guest deserves at least a service. 2 Stars only for a location, since the restaurant is situated on the dock.

Quick and inexpensive lunch good Italian

Great place to eat while on business trip. Well balanced and tasty Italian food. The ambiance is relaxed and there is a bar. Not expansive neither. Will come back for sure!

Great food and nice eating spaces inside and outside near the water. Spacious and relaxed atmosphere, but I personally find the ordering experience a bit confusing, even after coming here a few times: I'm never quite sure where to stand or what to order, and communication over the very wide counter can be a bit awkward at times.
